NICODEMUS
Nicodemus recognized that there was something special about Jesus, so one night he paid him a visit. Nicodemus was a brilliant man; Jesus himself called him "Israel's teacher." He had graduated Magna Cum Laude in Israel's most prestigious schools, and yet Jesus stated he was a total novice when it came to understanding and explaining the spiritual things of God.
How can someone who is such an "expert on the things of God" not have a clue about God's priorities, teachings or agendas? The answer is the same: If you do not have revelation knowledge, you will never understand what God is doing, no matter how many Graduate School degrees you have or how many religious books you have written or how many seminars you have taught.
Nicodemus came to Jesus a proud man, but he left a humbled one. Know this that our Living God is quite capable of asking you hot and probing questions that will make you stumble all over your tongue. If you want to truly be smart, then learn to frequently say "I don't know."
