WHEN GOD LEADS THE BLIND 

"I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth." Isaiah 42:16 

All of us are born spiritually blind. Strangely enough, those who become our religious leaders can still be blind, even though they have masters degrees about the Bible.  Matthew 23:16   If you are such a person, the Lord offers to turn your darkness into light. The catch is, you have to be willing to travel on unfamiliar paths. This means leaving the doctrinal barricades you have built for yourself. This means a willingness to examine new belief structures. This means the willingness to "move," to leave behind the status quo.  

For those who say "Yes," they will receive great light, and the "rough places" in their paths towards God will be "smoothed out." And that's a promise.
