Bad News for Brainy People

TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL In the Garden of Eden there were two trees that stood out from them all: the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. We all know the horrors that occurred when our ancestors ate from the Tree of Evil. What may not have dawned on you is this: The Knowledge of Good has the same roots as the Knowledge of Evil. They are both from the same tree! You may be feeding your mind with the "knowledge of Good" and yet be just as damned as those gorging themselves on the "knowledge of evil!" I have found that it is not that difficult to tell which group of people is eating from the Tree of Life. These are people who embrace joy, who express love and care for one another, who are overflowing with hope, who are tenderhearted and generous. These people are humble, gentle, patient and highly creative. These are people who are secure and happy in the knowledge that Jesus is their King and Lord. Hebrews 12:18-24 By contrast, you can also tell who is eating from the Tree of Knowledge, which leads to death. As the Bible clearly says, these people are "puffed up." 1 Corinthians 8:1 They think of themselves more highly than they ought to think, Romans 12:3 and they love titles, seats of honor, and the priases of men. To be in their presence is to feel stifled and oppressed. Matthew 23:1-39 Those who eat from the Knowledge of Good and Evil are the same as those who ate from this tree in Christ's day, and they are the scholars, the teachers, the lawyers and the leaders. If you are in one of these "high risk groups," then you have probably already been poisoned by some of the toxic knowledge that your mind has already eaten. Examine yourself, because that kind of mental poisoning can keep you from receiving revelation knowledge. |
