THE MYSTERIES OF GOD 

"Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than the heavens -- what can you do? They are deeper than the depths of the grave -- what can you know?" Job 11:7,8 

God made the Heavens and the Earth. Although scientists have been working day and night for thousands of years to discern the mysteries God has hidden in His creation, we have but barely scratched the surface of our understanding. 

That same God which created the infinitely complex heavens and Earth also said "I think I will write a book." That book is the Bible. Although we readily acknowledge our ignorance of the natural world, it has been my experience that our theologians have a very difficult time admitting "I just don't know" when expounding on passages of scripture. 

Just as there is no shame in freely admitting you do not understand everything in the natural world, so is there no shame in not having a complete grasp of God's written world, which is the Living Word of God we call our Bible. Relax. God is in control. You don't have to have it all figured out; God will tell you what you need to know, and when you need to know it.
