WHEN ANTI-CHRIST COMES
All Christians know that Anti-Christ will one day appear on earth, causing all of mankind to be deceived and follow after him. Christians also pretty much agree that it is indeed going to be a deceitful and difficult time, as stated in Matthew:
"For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible." Matthew 24:24
For those of you who are trusting in your intellectual understandings to get you through that horrifying time, may I suggest the following scenario?
Anti-Christ will appear, claiming to be Christ, preaching love, mercy, grace and salvation to all. This will be ok for a while, but then he will demand that all peoples worship Him, and those who don't be put to death. Even more scary, he will use the Bible itself to validify this claim: For example, when Jonah was fleeing from God, a storm came upon the boat he was in, and the only way to save the lives of those on the boat was to sacrifice Jonah by throwing him into the angry sea. Jonah 1:11-17.
In the same way, Anti-Christ is going to state that Christians will need to be put to death to end the crises in the world. As a Christian, who is so knowledgeable about the Bible, you will stand up to him and say, "Excuse me! That is not what the Bible means!" Anti-Christ will then look at you with feigned hurt in his eyes, and say, "I'm sorry you disagree with me on this, but since I wrote the Bible, I think I have the right to interpret what I meant to say!" And you will stand there absolutely speechless!
