OUR OFFENDING GOD 

Logical people like everything neat, clean and precise. God however, is a Spirit and he doesn't come with square corners. I would remind you that sometimes God shows up in offensive places: 

Jesus spit into a man's mouth.  Mark 7:33,34

God told Isaiah to walk naked for 3 years. Isaiah 20:1-5

God told Jeremiah to "stop praying!"  Jeremiah 14:11

God told Ezekiel to cook with human feces.  Ezekiel 4:12-15

God told Hosea to marry a prostitute.  Hosea 1:2

God told Abraham to kill his son. Genesis 22:1-13 

If you truly love God as you say you do, then you better make yourself flexible enough to see God at work in some very bizarre and disgusting situations.
