Alkaline Boosters: Not a Replacement for Alkalizing Diet/Water The best way to alkalize your body is to eat a consistently alkalizing diet and drink alkalized water. The following suggestions are ABSOLUTELY NOT a replacement for a consistent alkaline diet and water. They are only alkaline boosters to help speed up your healing.

STOP EATING ACIDIC FOODS |
This is paramountly important and I cannot overemphasize this point. See the PH residual ash food chart to find out which foods are acidic and which foods are alkaline. Ann Wigmore's Hippocrates Diet is an excellent list of alkalizing foods.
The higher the residual ash PH, the more alkalizing the food. This step requires alot of discipline. But remember, alkalizing foods usually are cheaper compared to acidic foods. In my city, I can buy 4 heads of lettuce for $1. I cannot think of an acidic food that I can buy for $1, that can equal the volume of food as 4 heads of lettuce. Therefore, eating more alkaline foods is not only more healthy for you, but it is also cheaper.

ALKALIZE WATER |
You can alkalize water by squeezing some real juice from lemon or lime and add it to the drinking water.

USE ALKA TRACE |
It's an Ionic Trace Mineral drop and it is cheap. 10 drops will increase the water PH to 9+. 1 oz bottle is about $5 and you can get about 660 drops per 1 oz. bottle. To save even more, you can get a 8 oz bottle for about $30.

I've tried 3 different brands including Greens4life, GreenMagma, and KyoGreen. All three are alkalizing and effective. Greens4life is the cheapest of the 3.

Add alkalizing Green Supplements like Barley Grass, Chlorophyll, Alfalfa, and Chlorella.

ADD ALKALIZING UNIODIZED SEA SALT |
At my local health food store, I got 10 lbs of Uniodized Sea Salt for $3. I use the Sea Salt for Intestinal Cleansing, and have begun using it for cooking too. I figure 10 lbs. should last me for a year or more.

DRINK THE RIGHT TYPE OF WATER |
Make sure you are drinking the right type of water. Alkalizing Ionized Water is best because the water clusters are smaller and easier to absorb. But if budget is an issue, then just use tap water and run it by a carbon filter like Pur or Brita filter. Absolutely DO NOT drink Distilled Water or Reverse Osmosis water. These two processes take out the beneficial minerals in the water during the purification process. If one drinks these two types of water long term, it will start to leech the alkalizing minerals from your body, resulting in more harm than good. Normally, a health person should drink 8 glasses of water a day or 64 oz. However, since we have PN, we have a greater need for water not only to sustain our regular bodily functions, but to help us alkalize and detoxify.

DON'T ALKALIZE TOO FAST |
Friendly Warning: Don't Alkalize too Fast Human nature being what it is, when I started seeing progress, I got impatient and started adding more and more alkalizing things to my daily regimen. This is a classic case of MORE doesn't always equal BETTER. If your body is detoxifying faster than your body can handle, it can potentially create more problems for you. There was a short period when I alkalized too fast and ran into the healing crisis. Symptoms of healing crisis include things like a headache, muscle ache, diarrhea, and so frequent bowel movement that I was practically camping out in the bathroom. Bad mistake which I hope everyone here will avoid. I learned my lesson. I suggest that you add the alkalizing recommendations gradually and increase them gradually to bowel tolerance. As my Nutritionist said to me, "You can assist and speed up healing with an alkalizing diet, alkalizing water, and appropriate detoxification protocols, but your body will set its own limits and timetable for healing".
