PRURIGO NODULARIS --Optimal Thinking
I highly recommend this book, Optimal Thinking by Rosalene Glickman. After reading her book, I realized I was already practicing some parts of Optimal Thinking without knowing it. Negative thinking is not always bad; Positive thinking is not always good. Sometimes, negative thinking helps protect us from harm. For example, if you cannot swim, having negative thoughts about drowning and a fear of deep water, can actually be protective since for most people, those negative thoughts and fears are enough to stop them from doing something stupid and dangerous. The key is not to dwell on the negatives, but to acknowledge and respect negativity as an authentic expression of one's reality, then move forward to an optimal solution. Positive Thinking all the time, can fall short too since Positive Thinking is often used to suppress, judge, and ignore negativity. Positive Thinking, without a realistic action plan, can often be no more than Wishful Thinking. If you want to know more details, please read her book. My Optimal Attitude for Health: 1) Identify the root causes of the problem. 2) What are my best options? 3) What is my OPTIMAL SOLUTION? My OPTIMAL SOLUTION means taking ACTION with my current best option, embracing any improvements to come, and be open to any better options when available. Optimal Thinking and having an Optimal Attitude is my choice, just like everyone else has these same choices. So I hope everyone chooses wisely! I have no doubt that my significant improvement is directly related to my choices in thinking, attitude, and ultimately what actions I've taken or will take to achieve Optimal Health. In the meantime, take good care of yourself and may you have optimal healing!
