The Event |
1 |
And a reed like a rod
1 |
was given to me.
1 |
And the angel stood, saying,
1 |
Rise up and measure the temple of
God,
1 |
and the altar,
1 |
and those who worship in it.
--Rev 11:1 |
2 |
But leave out the court which is
outside the temple, and do not measure it,
2 |
for it was given to the nations.
2 |

And they will trample the holy city
forty-two months.
--Rev 11:2 |
3 |
And I will give power
to My t wo witnesses, |
3 |

and they will prophesy a
thousand, two hundred and sixty days, |
3 |
clothed in sackcloth.
--Rev 11:3 |
4 |
These are the two olive trees
4 |

and the two lampstands
4 |
standing before the God of the
earth.
--Rev 11:4 |
5 |
And if anyone will hurt them, fire
proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies.
5 |
And if anyone will hurt them, so it
is right for him to be killed.
--Rev 11:5 |
6 |
These have authority to shut up the
heaven, that it may not rain in the days of their prophecy.
6 |
And they have authority over waters
6 |
to turn them to blood,
6 |
and to strike the earth with every
plague, as often as they desire.
--Rev 11:6 |
7 |
And when they complete their
testimony,
7 |
the beast
7 |
coming up out of the abyss
7 |
will make war against them |
7 |
and will overcome them and kill
them.
--Rev 11:7 |
8 |
And their bodies will lie in the
street of the great city,
8 |
which spiritually is called Sodom
and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
--Rev 11:8 |
9 |
And many of the peoples and tribes
and tongues and nations will see their dead bodies
9 |

three days and a half, and they will
not allow their dead bodies to be put in tombs.
--Rev 11:9 |
10 |
And the ones who dwell on the earth
will rejoice over them, and will make merry,
10 |
and will send one another gifts,
because these two prophets tormented those living on the earth.
--Rev 11:10 |
11 |

And after three days and a half,
11 |
a spirit of life from God entered
into them, and they stood on their feet.
11 |
And great fear fell on those seeing
them.
--Rev 11:11 |
12 |

And they heard a great voice from
Heaven saying to them, |
12 |
Come up here. And they went up to
Heaven in a cloud,
12 |
and their enemies watched them.
--Rev 11:12 |
13 |
And in that hour a great earthquake
occurred,
13 |
and the tenth part of the city fell.
13 |

And seven thousand names of men were
slain in the earthquake.
13 |
And the rest were frightened
13 |

and gave glory to the God of Heaven.
--Rev 11:13 |
14 |

The second woe passed away. Behold,
the third woe comes quickly.
--Rev 11:14 |
15 |

And the seventh angel sounded. |
15 |
And there were great voices in
Heaven, saying, |
15 |
The kingdoms of this world have
become the
kingdoms of our Lord, and of His Christ. And He
will reign forever and ever.
--Rev 11:15 |
16 |
And the twenty-four elders sitting
before God on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
--Rev 11:16 |
17 |

saying, We thank You, O Lord God
Almighty, who are, and who was, and who is coming, because You took Your
great power and reigned.
--Rev 11:17 |
18 |
And the nations were full of wrath, |
18 |
and Your wrath came, |
18 |
and the time of the judging of the
dead, |
18 |
and to give the reward to Your
servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to the ones fearing Your name,
to the small and to the great, |
18 |
and to destroy those destroying the
earth.
--Rev 11:18 |
19 |
And the temple of God was opened in
Heaven, |
19 |
and there was seen in His temple the ark of His covenant, |
19 |
and there occurred lightnings |
19 |
and voices, |
19 |
and thunders |
19 |
and an earthquake, |
19 |
and a great hail.
--Rev
11:19 |
