Being saved is like being born:

"Jesus declared, 'I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.'"   John 3:3

Let me ask you a question: How many times are you born into this world? The correct answer is: ONE TIME. So it is in the spiritual world. To say you can be Saved- Lost- Saved- Lost- Saved- Lost is to say you can be Born- Die- Born- Die- Born- Die. That would be the equivalent of believing in "Spiritual Reincarnation," which the Bible never teaches! You are only born ONCE in the physical world, and you are only born ONCE in the spiritual world!

Now, someone will no doubt bring up the verse that says "I die daily." 1 Corinthians 15:31  These people would say that since I can "die daily," that must mean I can be reborn daily. Not so. As a Christian, my SPIRIT is born only ONCE, but my FLESH dies DAILY. My spirit never dies again as a Christian, only my fleshly desires, which are always eager to sin:

"By the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body..."  Romans 8:13

As a Christian, I am eager for my sinful desires to be put to death every day, but as for my spirit, it lives forever, because it is now filled with the Holy Spirit, and is TOTALLY SAVED!
