One day a father who was in great distress brought his son to Jesus to be healed. There was a demon in the boy which constantly tormented him, trying to kill him. This demon was very powerful, and would physically throw the boy into the fire to burn him, and then later throw him into the water to drown him. Year after year after year, this young boy would be thrown into the fire, into the water, into the fire, into the water. The demon was unable to kill the boy, but you can be sure that the boy's pain, wounds and scars must have been very great indeed. Mark 9:14-29

Now look with me at the spiritual meaning of this story: Saved-Lost Christians are being tormented by this same demon! When these Saved-Lost Christians sin, this demon takes them and throws them into the fire of hell, by telling them are lost. When this Christian repents, this demon now throws them into the waters of "rebaptism," telling them that their asking forgiveness has now made them "resaved."

After a while, this "Christian in the water" sins again, and the demon throws them into the fire again. Over and over. First the fire, then the water, then the fire. Do you see the connection? To be a Saved-Lost Christian is to be under powerful demonic torment! This kind of Christianity produces wounds, scars, guilt, shame, fear and pain. It is only a matter of time before these Sinning Christians are so worn out by the torment that they give up on Christ altogether, and through the demon's influence they destroy themselves, by committing either physical or spiritual suicide.

If you are under this kind of torment as a Saved-Lost Christian, then you need to get deliverance, which comes only from Jesus! You can throw that demon out of your life even now by agreeing with God that through the blood of Jesus, you are TOTALLY SAVED!
