Totally Saved  -The Sick Baby            Hit Counter

What is a Sinning Christian like? They are like a nose with a cold, a lung with pneumonia, a stomach with cancer, an eye with a cataract or intestines filled with disease. A Sinning Christian is a Sick Christian. This analogy is especially true, because God says that when you become saved, you became part of Christ's body, with him as your head.   1 Corinthians 12:1-27/ Ephesians 5:22-32

As a Sinning Christian, you are a sick part of Christ's body. For those of you who are Saved-Lost Christians, how do you respond to your runny nose? Do you cut it off? If you have a chest cold, do you take out your lung? If you have a stomach ache, do you go to a surgeon to have him remove your stomach?

NO! If the sickness is minor, we wait for it to heal itself. If it is persistent, we take medicine for it. If it is chronic, we administer strong treatments and therapies. Only as a very last resort, and only to save the rest of our body, do we actually cut out and remove the offending organ.

The same is true in Christ's body. If Jesus was a Saved-Lost Christian, he would take out his lungs until they repented of their pneumonia, and only when they repented would he put them back into his chest.

In. Out. In. Out. In. Out.
Repent. Sin. Repent. Sin. Repent. Sin.

Saved. Lost. Saved. Lost. Saved. Lost.

Praise God we don't treat our sick bodies this way, and neither does Jesus treat his Sinning Christians this way. The Bible says that when you are sick with sin, the first thing Jesus does is give you the "medicine of kindness" that leads to Repentance. Romans 2:4  Yes, if your sin sickness becomes cancer, Jesus will cut you out of his body, but only as a last resort. Rejoice, then, that even as a Sinning Christian, you can still be TOTALLY SAVED!
